I would say that I'm mainly excited about the character songs that will come out. I hope the character songs respectively reflect their archetype's songs.

Very much so! I did NOT expect to be this excited when they originally announced a World Witches idol anime, it's a genre I steer clear from but the idea's since grown on me. Just can't get enough of witches content, I suppose.
Looking forward to cute SoL moments and renditions of WW2 songs. If they deliver I'll be really happy.

It might appear a bit strange but if you think of it as a matter of being in control, I think it does make perfect sense.
