This is my evidence list for the possibility of various teams, please feel free to add to it:

//502nd Brave Witches
- Manga just started with Nipa.
- Were shown in full cast shot of movie.
- Setup is perfect for TV anime (Japanese MC who just transferred in, and is viewer surrogate like Yoshika).

//506th Noble Witches
- Heidemarie was shown in the very opening of the movie, and she was voiced by a big-shot seiyuu (Kana Ueda, who voices the MC of of Marimite and Saki).
- At the end of the movie, Heidemarie was the one to arrive and give news of Neuroi on Karlsland border, transitioning into the credits and "To Be Continued."
- Heinrieke is Humikane's favorite (so I hear).

//504th Ardor Witches
- The Red Pants, Suwa Amaki, and Takei Junko have all gotten speaking roles. The Red Pants especially, since they've been on the Himegoe albums.

- Why would they specifically say the OVAs would be about the 501st, but not this?
- "It'll be something different."
- Season 2 was "Strike Witches 2." This isn't Strike Witches 3...it's "Strike Witches: Tactics of Vanadis Attack." They've specifically said that it's a new series, and not a continuation.

Regardless of who it's about, having more official content is always a good sign that it's not just the fans keeping it alive.

No one knows what the new TV series will be about. The only thing anyone knows, is that it isn't "season 3", whatever that means, anyone can decide for themselves.
Not even the Japanese know what the new TV series will be about, seriously, not even hardcore Japanese fans know. They know as much as we do.

Dilemma na Nichijou creates blog posts based on Japanese imageboard discussions, here is his latest blog post about how the residents of the Japanese imageboards speculate on what it might be. Notice that they acknowledge the fact, that the only thing they know about the new TV series, is that it won't be "season 3".

I heard about this when one of the members on Moe Wars, it a forum with a blog, posted it on the blog. I was so happy that I went and watched the movie subbed, which I was holding out on since I wanted to watch it dubbed. Can't wait for S3. It cool how all that stuff happen on my birthday

Everynyan forgets that the lewdest JFW might also be the subject of the new anime. They do already have voice actors. They're also responsible for more stolen pantsu than Erica and more lewd photos taken than Keiko.

Well, Funi already said at a panel that SW S1 did very well (much better than they expected). So if there was a problem, it'd be with Season 2.

In fairness, titles like Welcome to the N.H.K have been part of the S.A.V.E collection for 3+ years. Most likely, it's just the case that it isn't worth keeping the titles licensed. Either because the license was rather short term to begin with? Or possibly because they don't expect to sell many more copies. We are slowly moving towards an age of digital distribution after all.

I hate digital sales.. That just my personal opinion.

So from what I read the new series is actually going to be a Movie. That cool they make epic movies.
